Help improve Atlas Obscura by expanding Fiji Museum with additional information or photos.
This wonderful museum of artefacts from throughout Fijian history has recently had a make-over, and now traces the various waves of migration and trade which have made Fiji what it is today. The British colonial regime is also touched upon.
Also on display are traditional voyaging vessels (one made entirely out of bamboo) and a showcase of the history of Indian indentured servitude on the islands.
