Springfield, Massachusetts was once known for its many industrial factories that used the Connecticut River to move goods.

Inside the Springfield History Museum, visitors will find various exhibits that highlight this robust industrial past. One of the more famous factories that called Springfield home was the Hasbro factory, which produced many iconic toys and games that remain childhood favorites.

Milton Bradley moved to Springfield in 1856 where he developed the first traditional board game model we know today. There is an entire interactive exhibit inside the museum devoted to Hasbro and the games that were made by the company.

While filling both children and adults with childlike wonder, it’s no surprise that this interactive game exhibit was sponsored by Hasbro.
