The North Carolina Estuarium is the only museum of its kind, one that is dedicated to studying and exploring plant and water life that can thrive in the brackish waters where salt and fresh water mix.

The Estuarium features pontoon boat tours of the Pamlico Sound, a walk down the dock to visit the turtles, a planetarium, and more. Located on the waterfront in Washington, North Carolina, this quaint town is a step back in time filled with historical homes and locations related to the underground railroad.
