Tetris is perhaps the one game where you could approach any stranger in America and feel confident that they would know how to play, they would recognize the iconic pieces. Those pieces were repurposed by artists with the Gaffa Gallery as part of a Live Lanes exhibit on the streets of Sydney, Australia

For a limited time in the beginning of 2009, passersby could see the installation, “One More Go One More Go,” otherwise known as “Giant Tetris,” suspended above them on Abercrombie Lane. It was put together by Hugh Rutherford, Ben Backhouse, Adrianne Tasker, Elia Barclay, and Kelly Robson.

Live Lanes was part of an initiative to breathe new life into the area and encourage more cultural and artistic expression from the residents of Sydney.

Update 2017: Sadly the installation is long gone.
