Pennsylvania Coin Operated Gaming Hall of Fame and Museum

In the world of pinball establishments there are a few ways to distinguish yourself. 

You can build your collection in an unusual setting–in the back of a laundromat for example–or you can keep your games in mint condition by having a restoration shop on the premises, or you can go for volume, simply having the largest number of machines, and finally you can go for rarity, having machines that few others have. The Pennsylvania Coin Operated Gaming Hall of Fame and Museum is going for a combination of the last two approaches.

Inside a cavernous 10,500 square-foot former dollar store, a huge collection of over 400 vintage arcade games and pinball machines awaits. An astonishing 1,200 more machines are in storage awaiting repair and restoration. 

In addition to having many machines, the Pennsylvania Coin Operated Gaming Hall of Fame and Museum, or PinballPA for short, also has some very rare machines. The collection spans over seventy years and includes a machine called “Thunderball” of which only 10 were ever produced, only four remain, and only one is actually playable.
