Servants of Mary Center for Peace
The world's largest Our Lady of Guadalupe statue overlooks this Ohio sanctuary.
An enormous statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe greets those who spend time within these peaceful grounds. At 50 feet tall, it’s said to be the world’s largest Our Lady of Guadalupe statue.
Located 30 miles east of Cleveland, this 120-year-old farm was purchased by Deacon Ed Heinz and his wife Pat in 1987. They originally intended to use the space as a Catholic youth camp, but lost the property due to financial issues.
By good fortune, the couple was later able to repurchase the farm and decided to use the property to share their Catholic faith. Thus, the Servants of Mary Center for Peace was established.
The statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe stands a the center of the 50-acre farm. It towers over a tranquil reflecting pool, just as it has ever since it was dedicated in 1995. The property also includes a chapel, gift shop, and banquet facility, among other features. Individuals of all beliefs and ethnicities are welcome.
