Showbiz Pizza’s 100+ locations had all been replaced by the Chuck E. Cheese brand by 1992, but for some, their fond memories had no substitute. Damon Breland’s passion for the house band Rock-afire Explosion at the famous children’s entertainment restaurant led him to recreate the whole display in his own showroom.

He opened Smitty’s in 2007, and moved the operation to its current location in 2018. Smitty’s is now open by appointment only, so you can have the balcony all to yourself as you enjoy a full library of musical programming on three stages.

The lineup includes Dook LaRue, Beach Bear, Fatz Geronimo and the rest of the original cast. Additionally, some characters from Chuck E. Cheese are on hand to extend the show. Breland and his band were featured in the 2008 documentary The Rock-afire Explosion.
