Three Valley Gap Heritage Ghost Town – British Columbia - Atlas Obscura

This famous and colorful historical ghost town was built over the years by rescuing and restoring historical buildings.  The ghost town is not hard to find on the eastern shore of Three Valley Lake, right off the Trans Canada Highway. Strolling through the little town’s streets visitors are treated to sites that harken back to the pioneer days. Situated around the Railway Roundhouse is a collection of engines and railway cars. A beautiful red-roofed Chateau is also located in the town.

Be sure to allow several hours to enjoy the extensive displays. Many items are “touchable” and they’ve added lots of children’s activities throughout.
