In Seattle’s Madrona neighborhood, there is a lovely pedestrian trestle bridge that spans a wooded valley.
Someone has hidden gnomes throughout the valley, and challenged passersby to find as many as they can. Dozens of small gnome statues can be found hidden in and around the crevices and foliage visible from the bridge.
It’s not clear who set up this challenge, but it’s a fun, whimsical diversion for anyone who happens to be passing through the area.
Know Before You Go
Valley of the Gnomes can be reached via car or bus, and there is usually plenty of on-street parking nearby.
