Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary is a great place to observe black bears from the viewing deck. You will see cubs to aged adults. The sanctuary has been frequented by a three-legged bear though it is unknown how the bear lost its leg or when. These are not caged, but truly wild black bear… free to come and go as they please. Make sure you go during one of the feeding hours and be sure to bring your camera!
