The Walter Anderson Museum of Art (or the WAMA, for short) is a museum dedicated to Walter Inglis Anderson, a painter and naturalist, and native of Ocean Springs. The museum contains most of his artwork, including a room formerly located in his private cabin, which he covered wall to wall in murals of the natural world of the Gulf Coast.
The WAMA is connected to the Ocean Springs Community Center, which Anderson painted in the interior of for the sum of $1.
