Now retired, I'm trying to keep my reputation alive as a traveler to exotic places. Well, at least exotic according to my friends. I've ridden a camel in the Gobi Desert, snorkeled with the dolphins in the Azores, climbed a glacier in Patagonia, and tried shark meat in Iceland. Recently I climbed into the Great Pyramid of Giza. One of the highlights of my trip to Madagascar was the chance to see the coelacanth. Not bad for a retired librarian!
