In my youth, I was a voracious advocate for any roadtrip! Near or far, planned or impromptu, I was in. One of those trips brought me to Alaska, where I fell in love with the state and ended up calling it home for 19 years. Now, back in the lower 48, a decade has slid by and while my yen for travel still exists in my soul, it has somehow curtailed--maybe because I feel my immediate surroundings now to be a bit mundane. Looking forward to hopefully being inspired by this site to check out the world around me again and not only experience places from those who came before me, but maybe even discover something to share with those who are not far behind. Now, I will open this site for the first time and can't wait to find out what's around the corner, as well as over the horizon!! Maybe along the way, I will find that road-tripping, adventure-seeking, experience-loving, photo-moment-snapping girl I used to know:) Happy trails to all
