I'm a writer and editor who creates and improves print and digital content for academic and popular audiences.

I also serve as a Field Agent for Atlas Obscura Society Chicago, organizing, developing, and speaking at events in Chicago and its surrounding suburbs. Most of my functions center on film.

I hold a Ph.D. in Humanities and an M.A. and a B.A. in English (with minors in history and French).

For fun, I run local races, renovate my Chicago bungalow, and curate a Gene Kelly fan/website.
