Along with Al Guerrero, Al Ridenour is the director of Krampusfest, LA's largest celebration of the folkloric Alpine devil. Krampus LA runs Krampusfest, a multi-venue celebration of the Krampus tradition running from December 5 through 21. The LA Krampus Troupe, a dozen or more elaborately costumed performers, will appear at all Krampusfest events including a public Krampus run held in conjunction with the Downtown LA Art Walk on December 12, 2013. Other events include an inaugural Krampus Ball (12/7) with themed performance including cabaret, rock, and Bavarian folk music, an art show with outdoor Krampus performance at Copro Gallery (12/14) and a final theme show, the Krampus Rumpus on the Winter Solstice (12/21). Krampusfest is intended as an ongoing, annual event.
