I'm a freelance writer, editor, researcher, and eMarketer serving the sports, fitness, and health industries for nearly 10 years. Credits include: AARP, Atlas Obscura, espnW, SWIMMER, H2Open, Triathlete magazine and others. I've also written about history, science, the environment, business, and the AEC industry. In my spare time, I'm a record-holding marathon swimmer--I've completed solo crossings of the English and Catalina Channels, a solo loop around Manhattan Island, and a solo crossing of the 22.2-mile length of Loch Ness. I was also the first person to swim the 32.3-mile length of Lake Pend Oreille in Northern Idaho.
